Overview

Having investigated previously another location similar to this CaSPIR were privileged to have been asked to investigate this extremely historical location. The main building of this site is a Grade 2 listed building and the location area itself goes back to the 12^th century when it was an Augustine Priory, and this venue played an extremely important role during WW11, including the planning of D-Day, when it housed General Eisenhower and the Army Commander-in-Chief, General Montgomery and their Staffs.

The main building itself was a family run home for many years which had its share of misfortune, enduring a massive fire gutting the main building.   

Previous Reported Activity 

• Heavy bolted fire door becoming unlocked on several occasions on its own
• Dogs reacting strangely in certain areas
• Noises heard and unaccounted for by builders while working on location
• Figure seen walking near main building
