The main building of this site is a Grade 2 listed building and the location area itself goes back to the 12th century when it was an Augustine Priory, and this venue played an extremely important role during WW11, including the planning of D-Day, when it housed General Eisenhower and the Army Commander-in-Chief, General Montgomery and their Staffs. The main building itself was a family run home for many years which had its share of misfortune, enduring a massive fire gutting the main building. Previous Reported Activity
