CaSPIR Info
CaSPIR Investigation Techniques

We have resisted having a hints and tips section for a while now, this is more of a this is how we work section, which has been developed over time from trying things out and throwing away those that don't work for us and keeping those that do.

There are many ways to organise a group and run an investigation, different methods work for groups with different objectives, team balance and the equipment that you have. We will describe the CaSPIR method as at the end of 2007. We do not claim that anything we describe was thought of only by CaSPIR, some things have been borrowed, others we have learnt from our own diverse experiences.

Please feel free to take on any of these ideas if you can make them work, if not then go on the way you are doing. If you come up with something you think we should try let us know via the CaSPIR Forum or Email, we never ignore a good idea without trying it out first.

CaSPIR's methodology is all about sharing, ideas, team members, results , investigations (where we can, some unfortunately have to remain CaSPIR only) and helping other teams to develop. This not just us trying to be benevolent, we really like to work with other groups. The more we work together and share our knowledge the more likely we are to come up with a body of strong evidence that stands up in the face of the scientific sceptic onslaught.

Here are a few of our Investigation methods and

Group set up how to's to get you going.
