The Hippodrome Files

Investigated 18th February 2006

The Evidence

The following files have been recorded by members of CaSPIR UK on previous investigations of the The Royal Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
All these files are genuine and have not been doctored in anyway whatsoever (other than sized for web requirements).

In most cases it is advisable that you use headphones on audio and video files for greater clarity.

Audio Evidence (18th February 2006)

Video 1 - Recorded by Simon Hunt from under the stage using a Sony Mini DV Camcorder.

This was an incredible event which was recorded by sheer luck. We just happened to have three groups positioned at the right place at the right time, Doug, Kim and Zoe were above the stage (on the 'fly-floor'), Caz and Si were below the stage whilst Ian was with another group positioned in the main auditorium. The positioning allowed us to locate the noise as coming from the stage and the group on the 'fly-floor' could see immediately from their vantage point that no-one was on the stage at the time.

Environmental Evidence (18th February 2006)

Captured using EL-USB-2 Datalogger

During the incident described above in 'Track 1', Doug left this datalogger on a bench as you walk out onto the fly floor to begin with. During this investigation period the temperature recorded can visibly be seen to drop from 21deg C to 9deg before returning to 18deg by the end of the vigil.

This used in tandem with the audio file above leads us to conclude without a doubt that this incident was indeed paranormal.
