Multi-Meters

Multi Function Environmental meters

These come in many forms, sizes and shapes ours was made by Precision Gold, model number N09AQ. This is the perfect tool for taking baseline readings of a site under investigation, prior to the investigation start. Always record these readings against a drawing of the area, then you can always accurately refer back to the original readings. Definitely a must have device for the serious investigator.

At CaSPIR we note the temperature, light, sound and humidity and EMF readings with a separate Gauss Meter.

The unit shown above can be tripod mounted, the thermometer sensor can be detached (the light one already is). There is also a high temperature probe, but we have yet to find a use for this outside of checking the internal temperature of the Sunday Roast

Our method for using this device is similar to that used by many other groups. We have an A4 page with room for a scaled drawing of a room and space for five sets of readings including EMF, Ionisation and Radiation readings.

One sheet is used for each room under investigation with readings taken in locations near the four corners and centre of the room labelled 1 - 5.

When we have a group in the room the readings can be repeated at any time also any activity can be indicated as being between points 2 and 3, hence providing a pretty good idea of the location later.
